This policy explains how Romanced processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013.

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number. For each gift, the recipient's name, delivery address, phone number and the message you would like written on the card. We also keep a record of your orders and the packages you have chosen.

Why we collect it

To arrange and deliver your gifts, to remind you before a date, to answer your questions, and to keep proper business records.

Who we share it with

Only the florist partner fulfilling a specific delivery, and only the details they need for that delivery. Our payment provider processes your payment on their own secure systems. We never sell your information.

Card details

Romanced never sees or stores your card details. Payment happens on a PCI compliant hosted checkout page operated by our payment provider.

Where your information is kept

Our systems are hosted with reputable cloud providers whose servers may sit outside South Africa. Where that happens, the information is protected by comparable safeguards.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, other than records we must keep by law. Write to our contact address and we will respond.

Analytics and embeds

We use basic, privacy respecting traffic measurement to understand how the site is used. We do not run advertising trackers.
